Art Activism Kick-Off Event!

• Chris Lopez - applied naturalist, Regenesis Institute faculty member, and storyteller gives voice to the ancient tale at the heart of it all.

  Join me Earth Day Saturday, April 23 for a unique, virtual creative journey - Art and Nature in Mythic Time, for humans of all ages! Very excited to share that I will be joined by Josh Lane, the extraordinary tracker, nature mentor, and author of the award-winning book Conscious Nature, and Chris Lopez, storyteller, applied naturalist, and Regenerative Practitioner!

Bring the markers, magazine clippings, and all your senses, and be ready to move into mythic time as we track and feed an ancient tale back to the beginning of human imagination, in search of the original instructions set within it. This event features a Native American tale called Hide it in the Heart, in which star-nose mole, humblest and most in touch with the Earth, suggests the key of life should be hidden in the human heart.

Each participant will produce a collage featuring a creature they share some relationship with––an animal they just love. This will be restorative and uplifting––you can put that eco-anxiety away!

Once everyone’s art is uploaded (you have until Mother’s Day) we’ll have created a collective artistic statement about our love and care for Earth and her children. 

We know the answers in our bones, after all.
